Chinese billionaire Jack Ma has resurfaced two after his disappearance from social media and even his own TV show.
The founder of African Netpreneur Prize Initiative (ANPI) awarding $1 million in prize money to ten entrepreneurs from across Africa.
He’s also founder of the “Africa’s Business Heroes,” TV show.
Ma reportedly spoke about his philanthropic work and did not mention his run-ins with the Chinese government during the address.

Ma reportedly said: Recently, my colleagues and I have been studying and thinking. We made a firmer resolution to devote ourselves to education philanthropy. Working hard for rural revitalization and common prosperity is the responsibility for our generation
Ma’s resurfacing will probably help quell rumours about his fate: While it’s still unclear where Ma is, his emergence in a public forum may help quell persistent rumours about his fate while Beijing pursues investigations into online finance titan Ant Group Co. and Alibaba Group Holding Ltd.
